CNS’ 2018 Maryland Governor’s Voter Guide

Organization: Capital News Service (CNS) Maryland
Description: I worked with a design partner to create this voter guide for the 2018 gubernatorial race in Maryland. We designed a total of 13 pages. Users can access each candidate’s profile when they click on a photo. We worked with another CNS reporter who gathered the information.

Description: I created these three infographics for a story another CNS reporter wrote about campaign contributions in the 2018 governor’s race. We used data from the Maryland State Board of Elections.

HHS ACF Freedom of Information Act

Organization: The Administration for Children and Families (ACF)
Description: I redesigned the web pages belonging to the FOIA office at ACF. The objective for the FOIA landing page was to promote the new online portal that allows users to submit FOIA requests and receive documents online. The objective for the e-reading room was to ease navigation and make important documents easier to find for users.

The Washington Bullpen

Organization: Capital News Service (CNS) Maryland
Description: I worked with a partner to creat these three pages. The CNS Podcast Network hosts all podcasts CNS Maryland has created and provides users with links to subscribe and listen to the podcasts. The Washington Bullpen and Annapolis Bullpen were podcasts created during my semester at CNS Maryland. Their individual pages make it easier for listeners to find previous episodes, listen to the latest episode, read about the hosts and subscribe.
Tools used: Webpages hosted on WordPress with some customized CSS. Images created using Adobe Photoshop CC 2017
